This was the first portrait I'd painted in decades, and it is ... a cat. My daughter's cat, actually. His name was Frank, aka Frank the Tank. I've never done many portraits, not because there's anything wrong with portraits, but because I never felt like I was very good at them. But for my daughter's favorite feline, I was willing to make an exception.
